Buschenschank Moar zu Viersch in Verdings, Klausen.

Entrance from Buschenschank Moar zu Viersch

Autumn means Törggele time in South Tyrol. Every year, we open our Buschenschank to guests from the beginning of October to the end of November. Törggelen has a long tradition in South Tyrol: the end of the harvest season is celebrated extensively. Traditional dishes such as barley soups, Schlutzkrapfen (ravioli) or butcher's platters are a must. The best way to combine Törggelen is with an autumn hike followed by a stop at a wine tavern. You too can experience the golden fall and reserve a table right away.

Opening hours

Beginning of October – End of November:
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Other times on request.

Alongside Säben, which lies slightly below, the Moar zu Viersch, located on a beautiful hilltop, was probably one of the first places in the Eisack Valley to be settled in prehistoric times. As the former prince-bishop's Moarhof (Küchenmaierhof), it was one of the most important farms in the area. The fact that the "Katharinenkapelle" chapel was built right next to the farm also underlines the historical importance and location of the Moar zu Viersch.

Historical ambience

The Moar zu Viersch is also ideal as an event location. Easy accessibility, breathtaking location (with a view over the Eisack Valley - direct view of the Geisler Group - view of the Schlern ...), no worries about noise pollution, own courtyard chapel (for weddings), parking facilities and much more - ensure that your event will be a success!
